Childminding
Advice & Support
The Childminding Advisory Officer is available to offer support and advice to both childminders and parents wishing to access the services of a childminder.
She organises network meetings for childminders regularly to provide support and information for them. Parents and Childminders are encouraged to contact the Advisory Officer for information and advice.

Training
Specific courses and Workshops are organised for Childminders throughout the year. Those who wish to voluntary notify must take part in the Quality Awareness Programme (QAP), Child Welfare & Protection and First Aid. There is also an option to take part in further additional training. Please refer to the current training calendar.
Networks
Childminders can access a number of networks through the WCCC. These include monthly art based play mornings, play mornings at local play centres and evening meetings with guest speakers.
