The networks meet on a quarterly basis and the meetings are held either in WCityCC offices or are hosted by childcare services. The purpose of the meetings is information sharing and peer support. Providers can discuss issues relevant to their sector and share ideas and initiatives. They can also request specific talks or training relevant to their own area within the sector as a whole. Previous trainings have included Customer care, Storytelling, Energy Saving and Cost cutting, Inclusion of children with different needs.
Providers also learn from the experience of others in the group in terms of issues that arise and also development of their services and find the meetings valuable in terms of linking in with each other.
