ECCE guidelines and requirements from September 2012
The WCityCC is the first point of contact for the public on all matters related to childcare. It offers a wide variety of services locally including; advice and information on the Government supported childcare schemes, advice on setting up a childcare business; childcare information sessions; training courses for those considering a career in childcare. It also offers services to parents, such as providing information on local childcare facilities and information on parent networks.
The WCity CC develops an annual programme of work based on the recently launched National Strategic Plan 2011-2013 for Early Childhood Care and Education Programmes.
